They come to the first lab. You get the first four-line note that Sunday, and at the end they graduate with a certificate and a holistic report.
90 minutes. Seven habits to build.
A lab is not a class. Children work in small teams on one real problem: they play, guess, question, argue, test, build and reflect, and every week the problem and the build are different. By the end of a cohort the seven habits are theirs: asking before answering, committing to a guess, giving a reason, changing one thing at a time, finishing what breaks, and saying what they learned.
Ages 11 to 15. No prior anything.
Any school, any board, any marks. Teams of three to five are mixed on purpose. A child who would rather watch for the first lab can.
